Job Description: Role: Salesforce Architect Location: Hoboken, NJ (Hybrid) Duration: 1 year contract A minimum of 12 years of experience in technology implementation for full lifecycle enterprise software projects, out of which minimum 8 years experience in Salesforce platform. Expert level understanding of the Salesforce product suite - Sales Cloud and Service Cloud Demonstrates the ability to translate business needs into solution architecture requirements and understands the long-term and short-term perspectives of an IT investment situation. Works closely with stakeholders from various lines of business to develop architecture blueprints, realistic roadmaps and strategies to meet current and future business challenges. Expert level experience defining the system architecture landscape, identifying gaps between current and desired end-states, and delivering a comprehensive solution that will enable achievement of the desired business outcomes Experience integrating Salesforce with different business systems, as well as working with integration tools (ESB and ETL) Demonstrates thought leadership in designing and implementing enterprise-wide CRM transformation that deliver business value Ability to architect a landscape transformation strategy for complex environment Experience in designing and developing software components and having a strong background in database design and system architecture Experience with Lightning, Visual Force, Apex controllers, Triggers, Batch jobs and standard SFDC components Advanced understanding of the Salesforce.com data model and how and when to create custom objects vs. using Salesforce out-of-the-box functionality Ability to define the system landscape, to identify gaps between current and desired end-states, and deliver a solution The core function of the Salesforce Technical Architect role is to take ownership of all technical aspects of a Salesforce.com implementation including custom code, systems integrations, 3rd party applications, and AppExchange products. The Technical Architect is responsible for successfully designing and managing the delivery of cloud based solutions and technologies. Experience with Release Management, Source Control, and Deployment concepts and technologies such as ANT, SFDC Metadata API, Jenkins, Git (Code Commit) and DevOps in a Salesforce environment Integration experience using both Web based technologies (Soap, Rest) and Integration/Middleware tools such as MuleSoft Knowledge of options and how to handle security requirements such as single sign on and data security Experience using Agile methods to deliver software solutions Excellent communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills.
