Job Profile Summary The Contractors Representative shall perform the following tasks, as necessary, to complete work assigned by the Departments Contract Manager: 1) Lead and participate in activities supporting the creation, design, and delivery of both reports and dashboards using various Departmental datasets and Power BI. 2) Define and document both technical and customer requirements that are necessary to convert and produce Departmental datasets from a conceptual model into a coherent, visually immersive, and interactive product. 3) Provide knowledge transfer to Department staff of information that will be necessary to maintain any strategies, procedural requirements, organizational information, Contractor relationships, and product solution(s) that the Contractor Representative has developed or worked on throughout the term of the PO. Deliverables. Contractors Representative shall perform the tasks listed in Section 5.a., above, as requested by the Department. The Contractor shall invoice these tasks to the Department in one-hour increments, at the fixed hourly rate specified in the PO. The Contractor shall provide evidence of performance by submitting the required documentation detailed in the list below. Documentation shall be submitted in a format compatible with Microsoft (MS) Office 2013, or newer. 1) Status Report. A report detailing the status of tasks, level of service provided to Department staff, and the projected completion date for each assigned task. The Contractor shall submit this report weekly to the Departments Contract Manager on the day specified by the Departments Contract Manager. 2) Time Reports. A report detailing the tasks worked on each day and the hours spent on each task. The Contractor shall submit this report to the Departments Contract Manager no later than the 5th day of the month that follows the month for which the total hours worked are being submitted, via the OIT Time Log, using the agreed upon Cost Center Identification number (CCID) for the work performed (upon the start date of the Contractor Representative, as defined in Attachment 1, Standard Terms and Conditions, access to the OIT Time Log will be provided by the Department). 3) Technical Documentation. Documentation evidencing that all work performed complies with the OITs, and the Departments, policies, procedures, and technical standards provided to the Contractor by the Departments Contract Manager. The information contained in the technical documentation must also facilitate the transfer of knowledge to the Departments staff that is necessary to maintain any strategies, plans, organizational information, Contractor relationships, and solution(s) that the Contractor Representative has developed or worked on. The technical documentation must be satisfactorily completed within the response time specified by the Departments Contract Manager. 4) Additional Documentation. Any additional documentation required by the Departments Contract Manager, which must be submitted within the timeframe specified by the Departments Contract Manager. Qualifications 3 - 5 years' experience as a Microsoft Power BI Developer Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Power BI toolset Ability to define both technical and customer requirements necessary to bring an analytic from the conceptual to product delivery. Superior analytical and problem-solving capabilities A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field (Related experience can, in some cases, be substituted for educational requirements). Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities to work effectively in a team environment.
