This role will be a subject matter expert on WordPress CMS for marketing, serving as the key technical resource responsible for designing and building all marketing customer facing websites. Experience with other CMS systems such as Contentful or salesforce Experience Cloud would also be advantageous for this role. The successful candidate must be a self-motivated, high-energy individual who can easily function in a high demand, performance-driven environment, be able to work on multiple tasks in parallel and meet deadlines in short time frames. Additionally, the candidate must combine strategic and economic thinking with the ability to work well with a range of business users to act as a Technology analyst and Marketing IT leader as well as have strong communication, functional and design skills while working within a small team. Responsibilities As a Senior Technology Analyst, your job is to collaborate with the Building Products (BP) Marketing department and lead BP IT in the following ways: Responsible and accountable for delivering best in class browser-based user experiences on multiple websites, using custom WordPress themes, CSS, and JavaScript Collaborate with third party design and development teams to communicate and implement best in case design and build solutions Be willing to put yourself in the seat of the customer, bringing fresh ideas to the BP marketing team around best in class customer experience on the GP BP marketing site www.buildgp.com Provide guidance on front and back-end architecture design and limitations during requirement planning sessions to ensure new components and templates are being designed within platform boundaries Lead the build of marketing campaign landing pages, new UX/UI components, and other branded microsites required by marketing team Collaborate with backend development teams on integration work by designing and building live API integrations from buildgp.com to back end data sources Lead build review sessions with third party agencies and BP marketing team, talking through new site concept testing and wireframe storyboards Responsible for review and evaluation of all software and WordPress plugins used by digital assets and implemented by following copyright and software licensing laws Lead team responsible for setting up and configuring site infrastructure including AWS servers, databases, and certificates Required Skills 5+ years of WordPress development, administration, and configuration 3+ years of HTML, JavaScript, and PHP development including knowledge of source control platforms (Git, GitHub) Experience building APIs for live data integrations from back-end systems such as a DAM, PIM or ERP Extensive knowledge of WordPress multisite including building and maintaining custom WordPress themes Experience working with third party teams to build digital marketing websites from scratch, including both front end and back-end architecture experience. Experience building and maintaining AWS Cloud infrastructure for customer facing websites Experience using Google Tag Manager or similar analytics tools Knowledge of the salesforce CRM platform and marketing tools such as Pardot Skills / Knowledge that put you ahead Pardot integration work and salesforce CRM platform management Experience working with other CMS platforms such as Contentful or salesforce Communities and Experience Cloud.
