Experience 8 Years Role Overview The AWS/ALZ Developer is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining secure, scalable, and cost-effective cloud solutions within the AWS Landing Zone (ALZ) framework. This role involves Infrastructure as Code (IaC), automation, and migration of workloads to AWS ALZ environments, ensuring compliance with organizational and security standards. Key Responsibilities Configure and maintain AWS ALZ environments, including account structure, guardrails, and security baselines. Develop and manage IaC templates using AWS CloudFormation or Terraform for provisioning AWS resources. Migrate applications from classic AWS accounts or on-premises environments to ALZ using best practices. Implement CI/CD pipelines using AWS CodePipeline, CodeBuild, and integrate with DevOps tools. Apply IAM policies, encryption, and monitoring to ensure compliance with organizational standards. Monitor AWS environments using CloudWatch and optimize for cost, scalability, and reliability. Collaborate with architects, DevOps, and product teams to deliver cloud-native solutions. Required Skills & Qualifications Hands-on experience with AWS core services: EC2, S3, VPC, IAM, Lambda, RDS. Expertise in AWS Landing Zone architecture and governance. Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code tools: CloudFormation, Terraform. Strong understanding of networking, security, and compliance in AWS. Familiarity with containerization (ECS/EKS) and serverless architectures. Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation frameworks. Programming skills in Python, Java, or Node.js. AWS certifications (Solutions Architect, Developer, or Security) preferred. Preferred Experience Migration projects involving AWS ALZ. Implementing multi-account strategies and guardrails. Working in Agile delivery models and DevOps environments.
