Current location | Relocation Status (Yes/No) | Expected Rate/hr. | Employment Type(C2C/W2/1099) | Role: SAP BTP BPA Consultant Location: Remote A seasoned SAP BTP professional with strong experience delivering workflow automation, approvals, and process optimization solutions using SAP Build Process Automation. Brings a proven track record of improving business efficiency, streamlining operations, and enabling clean core extensions on SAP S/4HANA and other SAP cloud applications. Skilled in collaborating with business and IT teams to translate requirements into scalable, user friendly solutions on SAP BTP. Key Responsibilities SAP Build Process Automation (BPA) Design and develop workflow automations, approval processes, forms, and decision rules. Build and maintain bots (attended/unattended) using SAP Build Process Automation. Configure Business Rules, Process Visibility, and event based triggers. Implement end to end process flows integrating SAP and non SAP systems. SAP BTP Development Develop extensions using RAP (ABAP Cloud) or CAP (Node.js/Java). Build OData/REST APIs and integrate them into workflows. Configure destinations, connectivity, and secure communication to SAP S/4HANA, ECC, SuccessFactors, Ariba, etc. Integration & Automation Work with SAP Integration Suite to build or consume iFlows. Implement event driven processes using Event Mesh. Integrate BPA workflows with UI5/Fiori apps, CAP services, or external systems. Delivery & Support Participate in requirement workshops and convert business needs into technical designs. Troubleshoot workflow errors, bot failures, and integration issues. Optimize existing automations for performance, reliability, and maintainability. Prepare documentation, test scripts, and deployment packages. Collaboration Work closely with functional consultants, business users, and QA teams. Provide guidance to junior developers on BPA and BTP development. Support UAT, production cutovers, and hypercare activities. Required Skills & Experience Technical Skills 10+ years of SAP development/integration experience. 35+ years hands on with SAP Build Process Automation or SAP Workflow Management. Strong experience with: oWorkflow modeling oBusiness Rules oProcess Visibility oBot building Hands on experience with RAP, CAP, OData, REST APIs. Experience with Integration Suite, iFlows, API Management. Good understanding of BTP subaccounts, destinations, XSUAA, and security basics. Nice to Have Experience with SAP Build Apps (low code UI). Experience with Event Mesh. SAP BTP or BPA certifications. Exposure to S/4HANA clean core extensibility.
