This role requires working directly from the client location, ensuring secure, accurate, and audit-ready IAM data operations. You will design and optimize data models, pipelines, and validation processes that support identity inventories, entitlements, and compliance reporting. Key Responsibilities Data Modeling & Architecture: Design scalable schemas for identities, accounts (human & non-human), roles, entitlements, and application mappings. SQL Development & Optimization: Write and tune complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and views for reconciliation and reporting. ETL/ELT Pipelines: Build and maintain ingestion and transformation pipelines for IAM data sources. Data Quality & Governance: Implement validation checks and ensure compliance with IAM policies. Evidence & Audit Readiness: Prepare audit-ready datasets and documentation for control testing. Security & Compliance: Enforce least-privilege access and secure handling of sensitive data. Required Qualifications 35 years of experience as a Database Engineer/Data Engineer with IAM data exposure. Expert-level SQL skills (complex queries, optimization, stored procedures). Strong experience with major RDBMS (PostgreSQL, SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL). Familiarity with IAM concepts: identities, service accounts, roles, entitlements, and access reviews. Experience producing audit-ready datasets and documentation. Preferred Skills Exposure to cloud databases (Azure SQL, AWS RDS, Snowflake). Knowledge of IAM platforms (Azure AD/Entra, Okta, SailPoint). Experience with Python for data processing. Familiarity with compliance frameworks (SOX, ISO 27001). Core Competencies Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Ability to work independently at client site and manage stakeholder expectations. High attention to detail and security-first mindset. Education Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent experience.
