Job Description: The Salesforce DevOps Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing CI/CD pipelines for the Salesforce platform. This role supports multi-tenant Salesforce environments across agencies and ensures stable, secure, and efficient deployment processes aligned with ITS Salesforce CoE governance. Duties and Responsibilities Design, implement, and maintain Salesforce CI/CD pipelines Manage Salesforce environments, sandboxes, and version control using Git and branching strategies Establish automated deployment, rollback, and release validation workflows Coordinate sandbox refresh schedules and data seeding processes Automate deployment approvals aligned with Salesforce CoE governance and Architecture Review Board standards Maintain metadata and package management for multi-agency environments Support tenant management and data isolation strategies across agencies Integrate automated unit and regression testing into CI/CD pipelines Collaborate with QA teams and Solution Architects to develop reusable testing frameworks Track and report release metrics including defect rates, deployment success/failure ratios, and deployment duration Implement monitoring and alerting solutions (e.g., Salesforce Shield) Work closely with Solution Architects, Developers, and other stakeholders Provide release readiness checklists, documentation, training materials, and handbooks Mentor junior DevOps engineers during Salesforce CoE scaling phases Mandatory Qualifications Level II : More than 7 years of experience working on complex projects, with at least 2 years in a leadership role as a DevOps Engineer More than 7 years of hands-on DevOps experience on the Salesforce platform Desirable Qualifications 2+ years of experience with Salesforce Metadata API, Change Sets, Scratch Orgs, and Unmanaged Packages 2+ years of experience with Git, YAML, and CI/CD pipeline scripting 2+ years of experience with Salesforce Security, Shield Encryption, and SSO configuration Keywords: continuous integration continuous deployment quality analyst New York Job Description for Salesforce DevOps Engineer || Albany, NY-Onsite || Contract [email protected] http://bit.ly/4ey8w48 https://jobs.nvoids.com/job_details.jsp?id=3032264&uid=7571e0d1d0544feb83ef0cbd0c4c1ed9 |
