Only submit candidates who have valid certificate Location : Remote Job Type : Contract to Hire MOI: Virtual Job Description: We are seeking an experienced ServiceNow Certified Technical Architect (CTA) to lead the architectural strategy, design, and governance for complex, enterprise-scale ServiceNow implementations. This role is responsible for defining platform standards, ensuring architectural integrity, and guiding clients through multi-product deployments that are scalable, secure, and aligned with long-term business objectives. The ideal candidate combines deep technical expertise with strong communication and advisory skills, enabling them to partner effectively with executives, project teams, and developers. Key Responsibilities Architectural Leadership Own the end-to-end ServiceNow architecture, including platform strategy, instance design, and governance standards. Develop and maintain architectural roadmaps, technical blueprints, and platform guardrails across the ServiceNow ecosystem. Ensure all solutions are scalable, maintainable, and aligned with enterprise objectives. Solution & Platform Design Lead the architecture of multi-module implementations across ITSM, ITOM, HRSD, CSM, SPM, and other platform areas. Review and validate solution designs, integrations, and development approaches for technical integrity and best practices. Conduct architectural assessments to ensure performance, reliability, and platform health. Integration & Data Architecture Design and oversee integrations using Integration Hub, APIs, web services, and event-driven patterns. Lead CMDB/CSDM architecture, data modeling, discovery strategy, and service mapping. Ensure data accuracy, security, and compliance across all platform components. Technical Advisory & Leadership Facilitate technical workshops with executives, architects, and engineering teams to guide platform decisions. Translate complex technical concepts into clear direction for stakeholders at all levels. Mentor technical teams and promote best practices across development and implementation. Risk Management & Governance Identify architectural risks and develop mitigation strategies. Support Engagement Managers with scope, timeline, and quality oversight. Enforce architecture governance across projects to ensure consistent and reliable delivery. Continuous Improvement Stay current on ServiceNow releases and evaluate new features for enterprise applicability. Drive optimization initiatives focused on performance, maintainability, and platform maturity. Promote reusable components, common patterns, and standardized approaches. Required Qualifications ServiceNow Certified Technical Architect (CTA) or equivalent deep architecture expertise. 7+ years of ServiceNow experience across multiple product suites. Proven success designing and governing large-scale enterprise ServiceNow implementations. Strong expertise in: o CMDB / CSDM o Integration architecture o Scoped application architecture o Security and performance modeling Exceptional communication and presentation skills. ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA). Preferred Qualifications Additional ServiceNow certifications (ITSM, ITOM, HRSD, CSM, SPM, Integrations, ATF, etc.). Experience in complex, global, or multi-business-unit environments. Familiarity with DevOps, automated testing, and CI/CD practices for ServiceNow. Background in organizational change management related to platform adoption.
