Role: Program Manager (Data Engineering) Location:- Menlo Park, CA (Onsite) Type:- contract Responsibilities: Manages multiple teams of individual contributors that deliver on multiple projects of increasing dependencies in an ambiguous or high-impact area Strategy - Understands product strategy and can drive roadmap creation. Able to communicate it effectively to the team Understands team structure needs and actively solicits and uses customer/partner feedback to be more strategic about building the team. Builds the team necessary to fulfill the strategy. Proactively sources and closes candidates for the team. Team Communication - Understands the information that is needed for the team to be effective and constructs and cascades information to team members. Loops relevant people into discussions/meetings. Effectively communicates team goals within and outside of immediate team. Set clear expectations and goals for individuals and the team. Gives clear and actionable feedback on a timely basis. Proactively identifies poor performance and works with HR to improve or manage out under performers. Experience in managing project using agile models. Managed diverse highly skilled team.
