Notes: We are looking for hands-on S/4HANA implementation experience (including RAP, UI5, and brownfield conversion with ATC/SCMON), architectural depth in CDS/views/AMDP. For this role, we are looking for someone with over 15 years of experience. Responsibilities: WBG is undergoing a multi-year, multi-stage transformation from SAP ECC on-premises to SAP S/4HANA on-premise. The program involves a large volume of custom ABAP code built to support specialized business processes. Transformation Stages Adapt existing custom ABAP code for compatibility with S/4HANA simplified data structures and programming model. Re-engineer code using clean-core principles and cloud-ready ABAP (strict ABAP) within S/4HANA. Leverage frameworks such as RAP, CDS, and AMDP. Selected components may shift to SAP BTP using side-by-side extensibility where architectural or scalability benefits exist. Minimum Qualifications 15+ years of SAP ABAP development in ECC. 7+ years of S/4HANA development experience. Cloud experience. Technical Core Requirements ABAP (ECC & S/4HANA) with RAP (ABAP RESTful Application Programming Model) experience for designing and building upgrade-safe services and UIs. Proficiency with CDS views, OData, and performance-optimized data models. Familiarity with Fiori/UI5 development and integration patterns. BTP experience is a plus. Ability to interpret functional requirements, perform fitgap, and take end-to-end ownership from technical design through delivery.
