This role will convert. JIB is currently: expanding use of ServiceNow to use as a project/portfolio management tool (SBM)- just implemented this year. Doing all project intake through this tool, performing time tracking to capitalize efforts. Formalizing use of the tool. All projects run through SBM. Whit current has a Sr. PM in seat right now. Will hand off some responsibilities to this PC. They dont currently have budget for a senior level candidate (Budget being allocated to roles like the Solutions Architect). Must have some working experience with a portfolio and project management tool any tool if not ServiceNow Some administrative support within a technology department No Bachelors Degree necessary. He wants to see relevant experience; No Certs needed Looking for: a very high attention to detail, someone who will manage dashboards, make sure entries and dates are correct, assigned to the right people in the department in SBM tool, understand basics around technology, wants to see someone who has worked within IT departments, etc. If not in IT, finance experience would suffice- try to find someone in IT world Supported projects in IT or finance, PC leading or involved in IT project(s) Someone has 3+ years into a career, 5 years would be even better QSR experience always a nice to have; as well as restaurant, food, or retail nice to have Wants San Diego local (OC would be ok since Del Taco is based in Lake Forest- Del Taco is still fully remote); JIB team is currently in the office 2 days a week right now Someone who has ITIL V3 or V4 certification nice to have Interview Process: Just Whit; 30-45min Teams Interview. ABOUT THE ROLE: KEY DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES: Provides direct support to the Technology PMO, IT Project Managers and IT Project Management teams in the coordination of resources, equipment, meetings, and information organization with the goal of completing IT Projects on time, on budget and at or above quality standards. Owns and ensures on-going data integrity of the IT Departments ServiceNow Strategic Portfolio Management (SPM) platform to include resource planning, dashboards, and reporting of the IT Portfolio. Ensures current real-time information is maintained within each project record. Enables the effective onboarding of IT Project vendors and the kick-off of assigned IT Projects to include equipment, security and necessary corporate network and system access. Identifies, completes and ensures the correct submission and approval of Capital Project Requests to the Finance and Accounting Department for necessary funding allocations with regular interaction with leadership at all levels. Analyzes and makes recommendations for the weekly and monthly reporting of IT Department Time Tracking and Financial Period capital labor identification, validation, and accounting in direct collaboration with Corporate and IT Finance. Revises and updates the IT Project Management Delivery Model and supporting deliverable artifacts as our Project Capability Model matures. Organizes, attends, and participates in stakeholder meetings and prepares necessary presentation materials for meetings. Ensures projects adhere to standard frameworks (Waterfall, Agile, Hybrid) and makes recommendations for compliance. Actively contributes to the development and delivery in Organizational Change Management (OCM) activities and tools tied to IT Projects such as training, formal communications, and expectation setting. Assists, as required in hardware/software/vendor selection and project vendor onboarding, security, training, coordination, and scheduling of IT initiatives as well as initiation and tracking of Capital Funding Requests. Performs other related duties, tasks and responsibilities as required, assigned, and directed. QUALIFICATIONS: Education Bachelors degree in Business, Information Systems, or related field preferred. Equivalent experience in lieu of education accepted. Project Management Institute (PMI), Project Management Professional (PMP), or Certified Scrum Master (CSM) certification strongly preferred. Experience Minimum of 5 years project, business analyst or IT administrative experience using project management tools required.
