Care is delivered in the patients home or a patient room within an independent living facility. The PT evaluates, treats, and addresses patients' comprehensive needs by implementing individualized therapy programs designed to restore, reinforce, and enhance functional performance. The role also involves patient and caregiver education to promote independence and improve quality of life.
