http://bit.ly/4ey8w48 https://jobs.nvoids.com/job_details.jsp?id=3081871&uid=d826c36ef18047ca84d10926e24845d3 From: Aditya Sharma, GVR Infotek [email protected] Reply to: [email protected] Job Description **LinkedIn ID with proper projects and education details is must** Tech Refresh Project Manager Location: On-Site at 2 MetroTech Center, Brooklyn, NY 11201 (locals only) Duration: 12 Months (Contract) Interview Mode: Skype Mandatory Skills / Experience At least 12 years of experience working in a Land Mobile Radio (LMR) communication systems environment At least 10 years of experience working in a PSAP 911 dispatch environment Experience with government LMR communications and NG911 dispatch systems with multi-agency interoperability Demonstrated experience as a project/program manager providing key deliverables to internal and external stakeholders Knowledge of emerging LMR and LTE technologies; analog and digital radios; conventional and trunked radios; operation in VHF, UHF, 150 MHz, 700 MHz, and 800 MHz frequency bands Knowledge of emerging NG911 dispatch technologies in a public safety environment Knowledge of logging and recording technologies in a public safety environment Knowledge of government procurement processes, including requirements definition and acquisition support Excellent verbal and written communication skills Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite Experience working with or managing radio systems on behalf of federal, state, or local government clients Experience overseeing and managing projects including design, implementation, and integration of new or upgraded radio technologies for 9-1-1 Ability to partner with Enterprise Architects, Project Managers, Infrastructure Leads, and Vendor teams and coordinate across the 9-1-1 implementation lifecycle Experience planning responses to new & emerging threats with Cyber Security teams and executing required action plans Scope of Services / Key Tasks Serve as liaison with internal and external IT audit teams: fulfill documentation requests, develop testing and remediation plans, and lead remediation efforts for Radio Infrastructure Management Manage project budgets and resources; participate in planning and project management activities for Radio Infrastructure projects Define project approach, resource requirements, team roles and responsibilities; ensure effective use of project resources Develop and review schedule, effort, and cost estimates using established models and best practices Create project charters, scope statements, weekly status reports, risk and issue logs, and other project deliverables Manage projects through the full implementation and development lifecycle; provide direction for project teams and monitor deliverable progress Manage risks and issues and develop mitigation strategies Create and manage project and communication plans; plan, track, and drive infrastructure solutions Work closely with executive leadership and internal/external stakeholders Provide oversight and management of blended teams of independent IT consultants and staff; manage vendor relationships Ensure adherence to published PMO methodology and development standards Participate in RFP creation, vendor review/selection, and contracts Perform PMO functions including budget monitoring, communication plans, risk management, document/deliverable management, scheduling, and reporting Review project artifacts including technical requirements, UX design, architecture, testing, and implementation documentation Manage development of training plans and future support needs Manage project close-out and transition of artifacts and knowledge transfer to agency staff Support continuous process improvement and adherence to PMI PMBOK and OTI Public Safety methodologies Report project status to senior management within the Program, OTI, and stakeholder agencies Address client concerns; escalate and manage project risks and issues to resolution Manage special projects and initiatives as assigned Note: Candidates without the mandatory LMR/NG911 and PSAP experience will not be considered.
