Job title: Power BI Location: Remote Experience: 5+ Years Job Description: Job Responsibilities Have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills for translating data into meaningful visualizations. Understand business requirements in BI context and design data models to transform raw data into meaningful insights Develop tabular and multidimensional models that follow industry best practice. Develop visual reports, dashboards, & KPIs in Power BI. Develop custom visuals for specific data in Power BI. Should have an edge over building DAX queries in Power BI desktop. Expert in using advanced-level calculations on the data set. Design, develop, test, and deploy Power BI scripts and perform detailed analytics Create customize charts and custom calculations as per requirements Publish and schedule automated refreshes per business requirements. Work with other analysts and data engineers to identity and understand source data system & business requirements for solutions delivery. Participate in investigation of new technology solutions and selection of new technologies, consult on requirements, building prototypes. Capable of implementing row-level security on data along with an understanding of application security layer models in Power BI. Design, development, and test Power BI solutions. Integrate Power BI reports into other applications using embedded like Power BI service or API automation. Responsible for design methodology and project documentaries. Requirements: DAX experience part of Power BI; SQL Server/Oracle experience ability to write complex queries; MS PowerApps; Working knowledge of Power Queries; BS in computer science, information system or equivalent working experience; MS Power BI suite (Power Query/M/DAX); 2-4 years experience; 2+ years of experience with Power BI development delivering complex reports and dashboards; Knowledge of SQL queries, SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) and SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS); Background in data warehouse design (e.g. dimensional modeling) and data mining; Analytical mind with problem-solving aptitude; Industry experience is preferred; Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a closely related field; Familiarity with BI technologies (e.g. Microsoft Power BI, Oracle BI).
