Product Manager Location: Philadelphia, PA (Onsite) MOI: Skype Role Overview We are seeking a Technical Product Manager to join the Search & Browse Platform Product team , with a focus on omnichannel discovery and campaign-related capabilities . This role is responsible for owning and evolving platform-level APIs and services that power content discovery, search, personalization, and notifications across multiple channels. The Product Manager will drive end-to-end product ownership , from discovery and definition through delivery, measurement, and iteration. The role operates at the platform and API layer , working closely with global cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, data-driven solutions that support partner and business outcomes. This is a hands-on individual contributor role with accountability for roadmap ownership, backlog quality, and feature execution. Required Qualifications Proven experience in Product Management, with preference for platform, API, or services-based products in discovery-related domains. Demonstrated success leading large, complex initiatives spanning multiple systems, markets, or technical platforms. Strong experience working with large data sets and independently leveraging analytical tools to inform decisions. Ability to balance strategic thinking with execution-level detail, from high-level concepts to delivery-ready requirements. Passion for delivering high-quality customer and partner experiences through simple, scalable solutions. Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to influence and align cross-functional stakeholders. Practical, hands-on experience prioritized over formal certifications. Open to candidates from any industry background. Discovery & Omnichannel Focus Areas Emphasis on notifications within omnichannel campaigns Strong understanding of platform workflows and system integrations Ability to explain technical concepts clearly, from architecture-level discussions to implementation detail Comfort operating within a defined strategy, while owning execution and prioritization decisions Interview Process Three interview rounds Final round consists of a panel interview with core and adjacent teams Key Responsibilities Own and drive platform-level discovery features, including search, browse, personalization, and omnichannel notification capabilities. Define and articulate product strategy, feature intent, and roadmap priorities aligned with provided overall platform strategy. Translate complex discovery workflows into clear epics, user stories, and acceptance criteria to guide engineering delivery. Serve as day-to-day product owner for a scrum team, supporting backlog refinement, sprint planning, and execution. Partner closely with Delivery, Architecture, Hardware, Legal, UX, Design, and Engineering teams across global locations. Lead features from early discovery through production release, post-launch measurement, and continuous optimization. Utilize data, metrics, A/B testing, and experimentation to drive decision-making and validate outcomes. Perform competitive analysis and market research to inform platform enhancements and feature direction. Ensure platform solutions integrate effectively with existing workflows and technical systems. Communicate effectively with stakeholders at varying levels of technical depth, from executive context to detailed execution. Maintain regular, consistent, and punctual attendance, including the ability to work nights, weekends, variable schedules, and overtime when required.
