From: Peter, EISINC peter@eliteisinc.com Reply to: peter@eliteisinc.com Hello There Please have a look at the below position and let me know if you would like to apply Title: ETL with Pentaho Location: Newark NJ - Hybrid - 2 Days a week onsite Duration: 1 year contract + possible extensions Description They need a resource to come in and assist with a multitude of projects across various value streams who is an expert with the ETL process and specifically Pentaho. This will be 100% hands on development and someone who can hit the ground running. Ample expeirence across integrations, migrations and upgrades is required using java and strong exposure to SQL databases and HDFS data lakes. They are curerntly looking to migrate from Cloudera Hadoop to AWS S3 and provide production support. Requires knowledge about Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), Agile, CI/CD deployment. Must Haves: 8-10+ years of experience in ETL design/development and Data Warehouse Implementation/development, most recently expert level in Pentaho Experience with Java and with HDFS data lake experience Pentaho transformations including Row Normalizer, Row Demoralizer, Database Lookup, Database Join, Calculator, Add Sequence, Add Constants and various types of inputs and outputs for various data sources including Tables, Access, Text File, Excel and CSV file. Proficient in writing SQL Statements, Complex Stored Procedures, Dynamic SQL queries, Batches, Scripts, Functions, Triggers, Views, Cursors and Query Optimization. Experience with Hadoop and AWS S3 currently moving out of Hadoop into AWS Expert in integrations, upgrades and migrations within ETL process Plusses: Fixed income/asset management knowledge of purchases and transactions Aladdin exposure Thanks Keywords: continuous integration continuous deployment sthree New Jersey |
