They must have facilities exp. And work with applications that unlock or allow access to campus lockers, the cafeteria POS system, schedule of pest control for facilities operations functions. This is a techno-functional resource. Pharma client exp is must The ideal profile who will get the job will be someone should have experience with facilities technologies and carry a technical acumen with how all these systems work together. They must be comfortable with documenting system changes. This is a delivery centric role so titles do not matter, skillset does. Role: Can't have a purely technical person; needs this person to document and communicate in a functional manner. Upgrading servers, plan for a critical process alarm that's coming to end of life, identity best path forward for systems, proof of concepts for new technologies, validate system compatibility, manage accounts for policies and procedures. Open to various titles. Has previously hired people with "Facilities Manager" or "Facilities Delivery Lead". Will act as a "Delivery Lead" or "Delivery Systems Lead" for pharmaceutical site operations systems. There is an intersection between traditional IT and IoT protocols. Required: Needs to understand how IoT works. Not the focus; more experience minimizing risk when introducing new technologies. Understanding System Lifecycle and System Lifecycle Delivery is required. Must have 5+ years of experience. "Welcomes" overqualified candidates. The more experience, the merrier. Must be able to manager the delivery but play an active role in the solutions, technically-speaking. Must be able to document and communicate system changes, manage system lifecycle delivery, upgrades, and proof of concepts, and have experience minimizing risk with new technologies. Pharmaceutical experience is extremely nice to have. Change management experience is nice to have. GxP is very nice to have. Desired Experience & Qualifications Core Requirements Experience supporting OT, instrumentation, or facility related technologies (e.g., metrology, BAS, controls, alarms, sensors). Needs to be able to travel to North Chicago for occasional support and on-site activity 5-7+ years of experience with IT system lifecycle activities and comfort operating within change management frameworks. Demonstrated ability to work independently or as a team delivering technology solutions on time and budget Ability to scope and estimate work and anticipate complexities in assigned work. Additional Useful Experience Exposure to network segmentation, VLANs, firewall troubleshooting, and OT connectivity. Familiarity with IT security expectations for OT systems. Experience managing vendors and collaborating with Facilities, Infrastructure, and Security teams. Success Traits Operates effectively as a hybrid business/technology resource-directed, organized, effective communications, and accountability. Strong communicator who provides clear updates without prompting.
