Title: ELK Data Engineer Location: Alpharetta, GA (Hybrid) Duration: 12+Months Contract to Hire Only or LOCATO GA F2F Interview Required Must send proof of address Call notes: Hybrid - no remote / 3 days in office - Alpharetta ONLY Temp to perm conversion possible Interview: 3 interviews (must be able to speak to the skill set on the resume) - Zoom first then in person Backfill for someone that was hired FTE This is not a Program Engineer role 10 - 15 years of experience ELK is a MUST Set up entire clusters from scratch Set up data and master notes - attention to detail Data integration using Kafka DEGREE IS A MUST Qualifications - 7+ years of experience with ELK Stack: ElasticSearch, Logstash, Kibana and beats. Good to have Ruby and/or Python, GIT and Unix scripting knowledge. Responsibilities include: 1. Build, maintain and optimize Elastic clusters focusing on logging use cases. 2. Implement and manage Index Lifecycle Management (ILM) policies, snapshots and searchable snapshots for efficient data storage. 3. Design and implement Hot-Warm- Cold architecture for scalable and cost-effective data management. 4. Configure index templates to ensure consistency and best practices across all indices. 5. Architect and size Elasticsearch clusters based on business requirements and performance needs. 6. Automate deployment and configuration management using Ansible. 7. Write scripts to automate routine task and optimize operations. 8. Utilize GIT for version control and collaborative configuration management. 9. Plan and execute Elastic Stack version upgrades and patching with minimal downtime. 10.
