Please find the below job role and let me know your interest on the same JOB TITLE - Sr IT PM Onsite every Wednesday Lake Zurich, IL 6+ Months Job Description: Summary: The main function of this IT project manager is to manage, plan, direct, and coordinate activities specific to the SAP Ariba Project US Region. This is a Sr IT PM role focused on the rollout of SAP Ariba modules to North American Regions. This person will be onsite every Wednesday in Lake Zurich, IL and will have to have a flexible schedule to meet with their Germany Team (meetings sometimes start at 7 am). Must have 8+ years of Project Management experience, as long as they have SAP experience and have experience with medium to large scale roll-outs or implementations of software. Notes: Onsite or Remote: Position can be partially remote. We will need the possibility for the PM to be in the office sometimes for meetings, alignment with stakeholders, etc. For planning purposes, we can consider 50/50. Reason for the opening: Request to staff a global SAP Ariba Project NAM Region Potential for assignment extension, or conversion to FTE: Extension possible based on the project. conversion to FTE, not at this time Work Schedule: 7am to 4pm (Mon-Fri) as the PM will need to collaborate with project team members in Germany and in the US. It could be additional hours are needed at a certain time based on the project's phase and deliverables. Primary duties for this position: Work with the overall program Ariba program manager and team in Germany to roll out our Ariba Sourcing and Contract Lifecycle modules in NA. (Canada, US and Caribbean). This person will be responsible for the complete project management activities in NA. Technical and soft skills required for this position: Project management experience with similar projects, good communication skills. Ability to connect and communicate effectively with different levels in the organization, escalation, provide periodic status reports, track activities and deliverables from all projects participants. Present to the Steer Committee, escalation if necessary, etc. Top 3 skills you would like to see in a candidates resume: Project Management experience in similar size or type of project (different locations, different projects streams and waves in parallel, projects team located in different locations, countries, time zone). Great organizational skills and attention to details. Communication skills. Preference on previous work experiences industry: Experience with Ariba implementation projects (5-10 years of experience). How many years of project management experience are you looking for: 10 years Education Background Requirement: Project Management experience needed Interview Process: 2 Teams Interview When are you available to review/interview candidates: Immediately Job Responsibilities: 100% dedicated support of SAP Ariba Project. Responsible for daily touch points with Accenture delivery team. Perform weekly team meetings with Accenture & US region leads and stakeholders. Drive the local and global project teams as well as 3rd party vendors. Support Accenture in workshops from design/build/test/cutover to go-live. Responsible for obtaining sign off from the local team for different project phases. Prepare & present country status for US Ariba deployment to the steering committee. Meet with department heads, managers, supervisors, vendors, and others to solve any issues during Ariba US country deployment. Align any localization requests from the global template with Business Process Owners (BPO). Prepare and execute local change management activities & project communication plan. Support other Ariba deployment waves on an as needed basis. Support PMO activities on an as needed basis. Review or prepare project plans to plan and coordinate project activity. Consult with users, management, vendors, and technicians to assess requirements. Skills: Senior PM skills in (SAP) roll-out projects and thorough knowledge in procurement tools & processes. Experience managing medium to large sized SAP projects, SAP implementations or SAP integration projects where the target system is SAP. Experience in working on multiple sub-projects and coordinating with different IT and business teams. Verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills, attention to detail and interpersonal skills. Expert ability to work independently and manage ones time. Expert leadership and mentoring skills necessary to provide support and constructive performance feedback. Expert knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning and resource allocation. Expert knowledge of MS Office applications including; Excel, Teams, Word, Power Point, Project, Outlook, etc.). Education/Experience: Bachelor's degree in a technical field. MBA or other related advanced degree preferred. PMI or PMP certification preferred. 10+ years experience required.
