Title: Salesforce Administrator and MuleSoft Location: Columbus, OH-Remote Duration: long term Contract Hrs 8-5pm M-F Technical Specialist (TS4) plays the role of Salesforce Administrator and MuleSoft lead for API integration and management. As a Salesforce administrator the candidate is responsible for managing all aspects of Salesforce.com (SFDC) including configuration, customization and implementation of applications and 3rd party integrations. Role also includes collaborating with internal stakeholders and team members to build solutions in SFDC that support business requirements and processes for continuous improvement. The Administrator should have proven experience with Lightning Aura Components, APEX programming, Force.com APIs. This position functions as a member of the Medicaid ITS Team, reports to the ITS Manager, and works with ITS Development teams. Responsibilities Work with business teams to understand their processes and translate their needs into actionable salesforce requirements for configuration/development. Lead the API management and implementation using MuleSoft and associated tool suites Create a roadmap and define priorities, liaising with stakeholders All aspects of user and license management including new user setup/deactivation, roles, profiles, permissions, public groups, OWD, sharing rules Data management to improve Salesforce data quality, implementing rules and automation as needed Proactive system maintenance including Security Reviews, Release Updates, Health Check, and Optimizer Identify unused or underutilized platform features Familiar with MuleSoft and Salesforce.com best practices related to release management and deploying changes through the various sandboxes to production. Mentors and trains State Development resources. Detailed Day-To-Day Job Duties to be performed: Responsibilities: MuleSoft (60%): Perform Mule Integrations, Mule API management using MuleSoft Product suite, and features Assess and deploy APIs in chosen MuleSoft platform (GovCloud, cloudhub, RuntimeFabric (RTF), Perform technical tasks using Java, Dataweave, RAML specifications/build, Dev Ops, CI/CD build pipelines using appropriate IDEs and version control tools Define, document and build solutions as per SOA, RESTful architecture and perform web service development Perform as a lead and senior developer using Anypoint platform including set-up, using chosen identity management, client management Lead and run the VPC (including sizing) for organization need by working with appropriate teams on firewalls, network and cloud setup and configuration. Development using Core JMS, web API, SOAP, REST, ODATA, XML, FTP, JSON and authentication methods. Perform testing using MuleSoft MUnit and building automated test scenarios Perform web services API integrations tasks with other internal and 3rd Party systems (REST & SOAP) Salesforce Administration (40%): Design, Develop, Test, Document and Deploy high quality business solutions on the Force.com platform. Maintain, enhance, and create workflows, Process Builder flows, Visual Flows and other functions and configurations within the Salesforce.com environment. Develops and Manages Communities Proactively seek out and identify needed Salesforce Release updates. Communicate Salesforce Release changes to the users in advance so they understand the change and how to use it prior to implementation. Handles and implements integrations and trouble-shoots any issues with partners and applications as they arise. Works with leadership and stakeholders, reviews & recommends software tools, and approaches to improve operational efficiencies and enhance the customer experience using Salesforce platform. ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS: Technical Specialist 4 must have solid salesforce.com skills, experience setting up Salesforce Communities and ideally, understand the general concepts of Customer Relationship Management (CRM). Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or information systems or related field More than 10 years of experience in Information systems in Analysis, Design & Development Must have 4+ years of experience in Mule Integrations, Mule API management, MuleSoft Product suite, and features Must have 4+ years of experience with various deployment options in MuleSoft (GovCloud, cloudhub, RuntimeFabric (RTF), Must have 4+ years of experience in Java, Dataweave, RAML specifications/build, Dev Ops, CI/CD build pipelines using appropriate IDEs and version control tools Must have 4+ years of experience with SOA, RESTful architecture, web service development Must have 4+ years of experience with Anypoint platform set-up including identity management, client management, VPC (including sizing), firewalls, network and cloud concepts. Must have 4+ years of experience in Core JMS, web API, SOAP, REST, ODATA, XML, FTP, JSON and authentication methods. Must have 4+ years of experience in MuleSoft MUnit and building automated test scenarios Required 3+ years of experience with handling web services API integrations with other internal and 3rd Party systems (REST & SOAP) Required 5+ years of Professional Experience in development & administration of applications in Salesforce platform-based technologies (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Community Cloud) Required 5+ years of Experience in Aura Components, Lightning Web Component Framework Apex, SOQL development, VisualForce, Java Script, HTML and CSS Required 4+ years of Experience in building and Managing Communities Required 5+ years of experience in SFDC Design, Analysis, Configuration, Customization and Coding Required 5+ years of experience with SFDC data model and the data migration / integration capabilities of SFDC Strong reporting background using standard reporting tools including standard salesforce.com reporting functionality and Einstein Analytics. Required Minimum of 5 years of experience using Salesforce tools such as Data Loader, Flosum, SFDC Outlook connector, Ownbackup, Jitterbit etc. Required 1+ years of experience handling Salesforce and Outlook integration. Required 5+ years of experience with SCRUM/Agile Development practices. Required ability to propose, document, and implement software project lifecycle solutions (software and documentation). Knowledge of Medicaid is desired, but not required. MuleSoft certification(s), Salesforce.com Developer certification or Administrator certification, preferred.
