Job Title: Oracle EBS Technical APEX Developer Location: Memphis , TN (5days onsite) Duration: Long Term Implementation Partner - HCL America About the Role We are looking for a highly skilled Oracle APEX / VBCS Developer with strong handson experience in designing, building, and deploying custom applications and extensions integrated with Oracle EBusiness Suite (EBS). The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Oracle development frameworks and the ability to translate business requirements into scalable, secure, maintainable solutions. Key Responsibilities Application Development Design and develop custom applications using Oracle APEX and Oracle Visual Builder Cloud Service (VBCS). Build userfriendly UI/UX interfaces with responsive layouts and modern front-end design. Develop RESTful services and integrations using Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) or native PL/SQL APIs. EBS Extensions Build EBS R12 extensions using: o Oracle APEX front-ends o VBCS front-ends o Custom PL/SQL packages, functions, and procedures Integrate custom apps securely with EBS modules such as Finance, SCM, HR, etc. Develop Oracle EBS personalization and extension components without impacting standard functionality. Integration & APIs Consume and expose REST/SOAP APIs between APEX/VBCS and Oracle EBS. Develop and maintain FBDI, BIP, or OIC-based integrations where needed. Technical Analysis & Design Work closely with functional teams to gather requirements and propose technical solutions. Prepare technical design documents, architecture diagrams, and deployment plans. Quality & Delivery Conduct unit testing, performance tuning, and debugging. Support UAT and production rollout activities. Ensure solutions follow Oracle best practices, security guidelines, and performance standards. Required Skills & Experience Technical Skills 5+ years experience with Oracle APEX (Forms, Reports, Interactive Grid, REST-enabled SQL, Dynamic Actions). 2+ years experience with Oracle VBCS (Web apps, mobile apps, custom flows). Strong Oracle PL/SQL programming skills. Hands-on experience integrating with Oracle E-Business Suite R12. Experience with REST/SOAP web services, OAuth, and API security. Practical knowledge of Oracle Database objects: tables, views, packages, triggers. Preferred (Good to Have) Experience with Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) integrations. Experience with Oracle Cloud ERP would be a plus. Familiarity with JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3 for UI enhancements. Understanding of DevOps tools (Git, CI/CD, Build pipelines). Soft Skills Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Excellent communication and documentation skills. Ability to work independently as well as in a cross-functional team. Strong commitment to delivery timelines and quality. Education Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Oracle certifications are an advantage.
