We are currently seeking candidates for Lowes Data Center Technician position. This is going to be full onsite in Winston Salem, NC - Monday through Friday.

Candidates must be flexible to work day shift (8:00am5:00pm) or night shifts (Possible night shifts include 4:00pm12:00am or 12:00am8:00am).

Because this is an onsite position, candidates must currently be local to Winston Salem, NC. We cant accept candidats that will need to relocate.

Also, please note candidates must be US s or Card(genuine only).

Role Overview

Lowes

is seeking a

Sr Data Center Technician

to support hands-on data center operations at the Winston-Salem Data Center. This is a

fully onsite, hardware-focused role

supporting rack and stack, cabling, break/fix, and inventory activities. This is

not a help desk or remote position

and requires true data center and IT technician experience.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

Rack and stack servers and hardware

Perform copper and fiber network cabling and patching

Break/fix hardware including replacing drives, memory, optics, etc.

Use workflow tools to install and decommission hardware

Log incidents and work orders using software tools

Assist with receiving hardware at the dock and preparing equipment for shipment

Coordinate with vendors for onsite access and break/fix work

Perform inventory tracking and hardware documentation in database tools

Required Skills (Top 3 Non-Negotiables)

Network cabling experience (copper and fiber patching)

Server rack and stack experience

Server break/fix experience (memory, drives, optics, hardware components)

Preferred Skills (Nice to Have)

Remedy ticketing tool experience

ServiceNow experience

Prior true data center environment experience

Disqualifiers / Important Notes

No remote work. This role is fully onsite.

This is not a help desk or desktop support role

Candidates must have hands-on IT technician or data center experience

Software / Tools

Basic PC knowledge

Microsoft products including Excel and Word

Experience using workflow and incident management tools

Work Schedule

Monday through Friday
