Strong storytelling and communication skills. Preferred Qualifications Experience with NLP and unstructured healthcare data. Familiarity with Snowflake, Databricks, or Spark. Experience building production ML models in a healthcare environment. Understanding of actuarial concepts and payment methodologies. Key responsibilities: Advanced Analytics & Modeling Build, validate, and deploy predictive models focused on: Member retention, engagement, and acquisition Utilization prediction (hospitalization, readmissions) Fraud, waste, and abuse detection Apply machine learning techniques such as gradient boosting, random forest, NLP, and deep learning on large healthcare datasets. Data Engineering & Pipeline Development Partner with data engineering teams to build scalable data pipelines. Work with SQL, Python, and cloud technologies (AWS/Azure/GCP) to automate data processing. Perform data quality checks and improve data reliability for modeling. Cross-functional Collaboration Work with clinical SMEs, actuaries, product teams, and compliance partners. Mentor junior data scientists and guide best practices.
