Job Summary We are seeking an experienced and highly analytical Solution Architect with a strong background in guiding and optimizing end-to-end execution across multiple agile development squads. This role is responsible for ensuring architectural consistency, technical excellence, and efficient delivery across the product ecosystem. The ideal candidate has a strategic mindset, strong communication skills, and a proven ability to identify bottlenecks, streamline processes, and drive continuous improvement to enhance development velocity and quality. Key Responsibilities Provide architectural guidance and technical leadership across multiple development squads, ensuring alignment with enterprise architectural principles, standards, and roadmaps. Review and approve squad-level technical designs and solutions to ensure scalability, security, performance, and maintainability. Act as a bridge between high-level architectural vision and squad-level implementation. Analyze development processes, workflows, and inter-squad dependencies to identify inefficiencies and improvement areas. Design and implement strategies to streamline execution, reduce friction, and improve collaboration between squads. Facilitate technical discussions and decision-making to resolve architectural conflicts and dependencies. Champion a culture of continuous improvement focused on process optimization, code quality, and technical excellence. Research and evaluate new technologies, tools, and methodologies to improve development efficiency and product quality. Lead technical uplift initiatives including automation, CI/CD, testing methodologies, and observability. Drive post-mortem analyses and retrospectives to capture learnings and implement corrective actions. Collaborate closely with Product Owners, Engineering Managers, and Architects to ensure technical feasibility and alignment with business goals. Communicate complex technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Mentor and guide technical leads and engineers to strengthen architectural and problem-solving capabilities. Demonstrate strong self-drive with a focus on delivering measurable outcomes. Required Qualifications Experience 15+ years of software development experience. Minimum 5+ years in a Solution Architect or Lead Architect role. Proven experience working in agile, squad-based development environments across multiple teams and products. Demonstrated ability to identify delivery bottlenecks and implement continuous improvement solutions. Technical Expertise Strong understanding of modern architectural patterns including microservices, event-driven architecture, APIs, and cloud-native systems. Proficiency in Java and JavaScript, along with relevant frameworks. Extensive experience with AWS cloud services, including serverless, containers, and data services. Solid knowledge of DevOps principles, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure as code (IaC). Experience with both SQL and NoSQL database technologies.
