The areas of focus will be the development of executive dashboards and paginated reports across Power BI Azure and Power BI Report Server. ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES ; Develop and maintain executive, enterprise level analytics solutions and reports using Power BI Azure and Power BI Report Server. Work directly with end users to enhance dashboards and reports Define and document setup and configuration parameters Define and follow Power BI development best practices Design and implement analytics solution architecture POCs Create and maintain Power Pivot models, datasets and dataflows using best practices Provide system support for the Power BI Report Server environment (application administration for both the development and production environments) Manage report security, folder security, database row level security, report schedules and distribution Extensive hands-on Power BI tool only ( we cannot consider a candidate who is having experience in Tableau, MicroStrategy, Cognos) and expertise in Preparing Dash boards as per the Business requirement Must have work with source control software such as TFS & defect tracking software such as VSTS Mandate to have the skill on MDX and DAX expression. As per the attached JD the candidate must satisfy all the Conditions which mentioned as part of technical qualification. The Power BI senior role is not a remote mode of operation. The Senior Role must have good communication skill because the candidate has to talk with Executives, Business stakeholders for gathering the requirement. The candidate nice to have experience in Insurance domain because He/she needs to understand the terms like ( How Claim Data & Policy data works TECHNICAL QUALIFICATIONS ; Senior level hands-on skills in building Reports, Dashboards, Scorecards and Reports using Power BI 7+ years hands-on experience in Power BI Desktop and Azure development tools, must have deep technical knowledge and be able to implement any feature and solve any issue 7+ years of Business Intelligence, Data Warehouse, and data architecture experience. 2+ years of experience and technical knowledge of Power BI Report Server Administration 5+ years of experience with advanced MDX and DAX expressions 5+ years of experience with data modeling with Power Query and Power Pivot Strong PL/SQL development experience with the ability to write complex and nested SQL queries Experience with Azure dataflows Demonstrated knowledge in P&C Insurance analytics, systems and processes is a strong plus Experience using source control software such as TFS Experience using defect tracking software such as VSTS Familiarity with development methodologies GENERAL QUALIFICATIONS Experience working in a software development environment Clear, logical, and effective verbal/written communication skills. Must be able to communicate with senior/executive team members Clearly demonstrated sense of urgency and bias for action. Ability to work well under pressure and independently. Demonstrated ability to interpret technical material. Takes ownership of problems and develops sound solutions.
