Overseeing Quality for multiple production lines. Its an engineering role focused on Quality Engineering, title is typically Quality Engineer or QE. 1st Shift. Medical related manufacturing is ideal. Our client, a Global Medical Device Manufacturer, has an immediate opening for a Quality Engineer for a 12-month+ contract. This role will provide direct support to the manufacturing lines through development and implementation of methods and procedures for process control, process improvement, testing and inspection to ensure that the products are free of flaws and function as designed. Responsibilities Monitoring and trending production defects and leading projects to resolve top defects. Identifying, containing, and correcting nonconformances originating from the manufacturing area. Coaching cross functional team on QMS requirements as it relates to manufacturing facility. When appropriate, designs and installs testing equipment and performs product testing and analysis to maintain quality levels and minimize defects and failure rates. Requirements B.S in engineering of any discipline, preferably mechanical, or equivalent and no experience. Individual will be expected to maintain a productive and collaborative relationship with individuals in all aspects of the business, ranging from operators to commercial marketing and sales.
