Production support Job Description Approximately 5 years of experience working in a regulated or compliance-driven IT environment. Strong background in Unix/Linux systems, databases, and SQL in Azure cloud. Hands-on experience with Python and related programming technologies. Experience working with ServiceNow or other ITSM/ticketing tools to provide L1/ application support. Ability to analyze, troubleshoot, and triage complex incidents, escalating effectively to L3/L4 teams when required. Additional Responsibilities & Skills Perform incident, problem, and service request management in accordance with defined SLAs. Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) and support implementation of preventive measures. Monitor application and system health to ensure high availability and reliability. Work closely with development, infrastructure, and security teams to resolve issues efficiently. Maintain clear documentation for incidents, resolutions, and operational procedures. Adhere strictly to compliance, audit, and security standards applicable to the environment. Support change and release management activities, including validation and post-deployment checks. Demonstrate strong communication and stakeholder coordination skills, especially during incidents. Exhibit a customer-focused mindset with attention to detail and urgency. Additional desirable skills: Experience supporting data pipelines using platforms such as Talend, Databricks Workflow, Control M, Airflow, or comparable tools.
