The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Oracle Insurance Policy Administration (OIPA) and the ability to evaluate existing implementations, identify configuration issues, and recommend remediation strategies. Key Responsibilities: Lead and guide OIPA configuration and development teams, ensuring adherence to best practices for performance, maintainability, and reusability. Assess the current OIPA implementation, identify configuration gaps or issues, and provide effective remediation strategies. Translate product and actuarial requirements into scalable and maintainable OIPA configurations. Design and govern OIPA integration architectures, including REST/SOAP APIs, real-time integrations, batch processing, and event-driven models. Provide architectural guidance on configuration vs. customization decisions. Define configuration standards, reusable patterns, and governance models for OIPA implementations. Collaborate with executives, delivery teams, and system integrator partners to ensure successful project outcomes. Required Skills & Experience: 8+ years of hands-on experience with Oracle Insurance Policy Administration (OIPA) implementations. Strong expertise in AsCode product configuration, including plans, segments, benefits, riders, fees, rates, and events. Deep understanding of policy lifecycle, transaction processing, effective dating, and reversals. Extensive experience with OIPA integrations across systems such as eApp, Illustration, Underwriting, Billing, Claims, GL, Reinsurance, and data platforms. Demonstrated experience designing scalable and maintainable OIPA solutions. Strong Life Insurance and/or Annuity domain knowledge, including regulatory considerations. Proven ability to operate independently as a senior consultant/architect. Key Requirement: The resource must be capable of reviewing and assessing an existing OIPA implementation , identifying configuration and architectural issues, and recommending improvements or remediation plans.
