The ideal candidate will have experience designing metal/sheetmetal parts, wood components and cabinetry used in retail fixtures and furniture. Job Requirements AS or BS degree in CAD or Engineering. Highly preferred: 3+ years of recent experience using Autodesk Inventor (required). Experience designing metal, sheetmetal and/or cabinetry type parts. Highly preferred experience designing retail displays, fixtures, and furniture. Primary Duties / Responsibilities Create 3D models using Autodesk Inventor. Develop fabrication and assembly drawings for manufacturing personnel. Generate bills of materials (BOMs) and update drawings from redlines/mark-ups. Dissect product sketches/renderings into individual parts and create detailed drawings. Update and modify pre-existing drawings as required. Collaborate with production personnel to ensure accurate assembly of products. Design retail displays, fixtures, and furniture components. Notes Local candidates in Columbus, OH preferred. This is an onsite contract-to-hire role. Candidates must be US s or Card holders.
