The Project Managers primary responsibility will be to manage and deliver multiple large, complex projects and meet organizational goals. JOB DUTIES (Detailed Statement of Duties and Responsibilities): Plan and manage projects to ensure they are completed in a timely fashion and within budget. Develop and manage a detailed project schedule and work plan. Lead cross-functional project teams to successfully deliver projects using Agile project management methodologies. Determine and define project scope and objectives. Predict, plan and designate project resources needed to reach objectives and manage resources in an effective and efficient manner. Keep stakeholders informed on the project progress. Provide project updates on a consistent basis to various stakeholders about strategy, adjustments, and progress. Prepare budget based on scope of work and resource requirements. Track project costs to meet budget. Prepare project status reports and variance analysis to ensure project remains on track. Utilize industry best practices, techniques, and standards throughout entire project execution. Comply with defined agency standards. Measure project performance to identify areas for improvement. Facilitate change management activities between the project team and IT service groups, participating in all phases of the project life cycle. Evaluate project's success at completion based on achievement of benefits and value proposition assessment. Contribute to the development of project charters, value propositions, risk action plans, work plans and estimates for large complex projects; serving as a subject matter expert and consultant to mentor/coach team leaders in the use of project management concepts, tools, and techniques. Assist Project/Program/Portfolio Directors and Managers in ensuring systems and/or business plans are developed and documented in accordance with quality control standards. Contribute to continuous process improvements as a part of the EOHHS-IT/DTA project management office. REQUIRED SKILLS (Special Skill Set, Abilities, Knowledge): Expertise in Agile project management methodologies Scrum, SAFe, Kanban. Skilled in using project management software such as Jira, Microsoft Project. Proven decision making and creative problem-solving abilities. Excellent communication skills. Proven experience in leading cross-functional project teams. Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities. QUALIFICATIONS (Education, Years Experience, Certificates): Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field 5+ years of experience as a software project manager.
