This person will be expected to evaluate WWs current marketing technology infrastructure and data flow, and re-architect the process flow so that its more efficient and without the current delays. Current workflow is that a new user signs up/provides their information, that data flows to the data warehouse, then goes to Braze, which handles the segmentation and ultimately triggers their marketing campaigns. There are delays during this process since Braze is slow to do the segmentation. For a system like Braze, sometimes segmentation is done within the platform, and sometimes it is done outside of the system. The current issue at WW is that the fact that the segmentation happens inside of Braze is causing delays, which ultimately negatively affecting their end users and business. As such, we are looking for this person to build an independent segmentation engine (outside of Braze) to capture the data, understand the flow of data, build functionality for the segmentation/event planning real time. This person will also address the issue of a disconnect between the end users and engineers, and act as the liaison between the two, while bringing strategy on how to re-build the MarTech infrastructure to better support the company and ultimately, the end users. *There is no user-facing component, this is all backend/infrastructure work Specific Responsibilities Individual contributor role, involved in the strategy and execution of improving the MarTech platform and segmentation workflow. Work cross functionally with scrum team (scrum master, engineers, QA) Develops high level business requirements and translates them into functional specifications for the IT organization and manages changes to such specifications Scope definition, prioritization, backlog management, user story writing Serves as a liaison between the business community and the IT organization to provide product and user experience solutions to meet the business needs Resolves a wide range of issues in innovative and practical ways Customer focused with high quality standards Skill Set Highlights: 8+ years of product management, product owner or business analysis experience Experience supporting end to end projects as a product manager (taking a product from creation/ideation to delivery). Experience working on MarTech systems/customer engagement platform Must have knowledge/exposure to Braze Expertise in Braze, and otherwise comparable systems like Salesforce, Marketo, Emarsys, Iterable.
