SKILLS::

Bilingual and fluent in the languages spoken and written - Either Chinese (Mandarin and Cantonese), Korean or Vietnamese or Japanese or Thai.

USC GC only

Roles and Responsivities: 

Provide general telephone customer service assistance when speaking to the members while asking the questions outlined in the HRA in a professional manner and provide precise and timely responses. 

o Inform Director, Nurse Practitioners or Social Workers on any questions or issues encountered over the phone with members, and any/all member questions or operation related questions before supervisory personnel provide further direction

o Assist with contacting/faxing provider offices when appropriate as part of the general assistance

o Check all voicemail and emails timely

Log each outgoing HRA call with its outcome in the call log within the HRA module in the appropriate electronic medical record system.

Assist the assembling and mailing of HRA questionnaire when they are not completed telephonically for the member.

Qualifications:

 Must have at least a High School diploma

Good communication skills

Good organizational skills.

Computer skills to include word processing and excel

Personal Qualities 

o Punctuality, precision with details, creativity, and self- motivated. 

o Ability to follow directions and perform work independently according to department standards.

o Able to function effectively under time constraint.

o Willingness to accept responsibility and desire to learn new tasks

(Have to speak one of those languages)
