This role involves building secure APIs that convert healthcare data into FHIR format and make it available for other systems. You ll build secure FHIR APIs on Google Cloud to transform and serve healthcare data at scale. Key Responsibilities API Development Build and maintain REST APIs using FHIR standards Create endpoints like Patient, Encounter, Observation Implement filtering, search, pagination, and versioning Data Handling Read data from Google Cloud Bigtable Convert raw data into FHIR-compliant JSON Handle large volumes of data efficiently Cloud & Deployment Work on Google Cloud (GCP) Deploy APIs using Cloud Run / GKE / App Engine Monitor and optimize performance Security & Compliance Implement OAuth 2.0, IAM, and API security Ensure safe handling of healthcare data (HIPAA) Support & Maintenance Monitor APIs and fix production issues Work with teams to improve system performance Required Skills 10+ years of IT experience Strong experience with FHIR APIs (must-have) Hands-on experience with Google Cloud (Bigtable, Cloud Run, GKE) Experience in REST API development Proficiency in Java / Python / Scala Good understanding of API security (OAuth, IAM) Experience handling large-scale data Nice to Have Healthcare domain experience Experience with Docker & Kubernetes Experience with Kafka, BigQuery, or similar tools Looking forward to qualified local submissions only.
