Responsibilities: - Power BI Reporting & Dashboard Development Design, develop, and maintain interactive Power BI reports and dashboards aligned to business and enterprise analytics requirements Translate business needs into effective KPIs, visualizations, and insight driven experiences Develop thin reports by reusing centralized semantic models to promote consistency, scalability, and governed self service Ensure reports are intuitive, user friendly, and aligned with Power BI UX and accessibility best practices Build, optimize, and maintain semantic models using Power BI Desktop and Microsoft Fabric (shared datasets / semantic models) Design efficient star and snowflake schemas tailored for reporting and analytical workloads Develop advanced DAX measures, calculated columns, and complex time intelligence logic Promote reusability and standardization through shared metrics and certified datasets Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and lineage across reports and downstream consumers Connect Power BI to diverse data sources including SQL databases, data warehouses, lakehouses, and cloud platforms Leverage Microsoft Fabric components (OneLake, Lakehouse, Warehouse, Semantic Models) for modern analytics architectures Implement and manage data refresh schedules, gateways, credentials, and capacity considerations Collaborate with data engineering teams to ensure reliable, governed, and high performing data pipelines Implement Row Level Security (RLS) and role based access control aligned to enterprise policies Follow enterprise BI governance, certification, versioning, and deployment standards Support workspace strategy, app publishing, and lifecycle management in Power BI Service and Fabric.
