Must be near enough to an IBM office (within US) that they can badge in 2-3 days a week. Remote (but must be near to IBM office) May need to travel sometimes. Rate is $60-70 Required skills: Min 15 Years experience with IDMS DBA work, with excellent understanding of IDMS application and Database usage including ADSO. Min 10 years of experience with COBOL, with excellent COBOL/CICS/SQL programming and debugging skills. Excellent documentation and communication skills Nice to have skills: Db2/SQL application and performance tuning knowledge, Data Migration experience, Assembler/Macro language knowledge, IMS-DB/DC, VSAM. It also needs to indicate that this is a US based position and needs to be near or within easy travel distance of an IBM office, keeping in line with RTO policy on new hires. IDMS Database Administrator well versed in IDMS database operations, as well as IDMS Central Version system operations. Mainframe COBOL to assist with Modernization conversion projects, including problem determination and resolution based on IDMS DB/DC behaviors.
