Position Overview We are seeking a skilled and versatile Drupal Full Stack Developer to join our team. This role emphasizes both back-end and front-end Drupal development, with a focus on building scalable, secure, and high-performing web applications. You will be responsible for developing Drupal-based solutions, integrating systems and services, and ensuring accessibility and usability standards are met. The ideal candidate brings deep experience in Drupal architecture, theming, and module development, along with a strong understanding of modern web development practices and accessibility standards such as WCAG 2.1. This role partners closely with agency stakeholders, developers, and project managers to translate business requirements into robust, maintainable technical solutions. Key Responsibilities Collaborate with stakeholders and technical teams to analyze requirements and design scalable Drupal solutions Develop Drupal 11 websites, including custom modules, content types, themes, and integrations Lead and execute content migration strategies, including data mapping, transformation, validation, and bulk transfers Build and maintain responsive, standards-compliant front-end components using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript Integrate third-party systems and services via RESTful APIs and web services Configure and manage Drupal site components (content types, views, menus, blocks, workflows, roles, permissions) Ensure compliance with WCAG 2.1 Level A and AA accessibility standards Optimize application performance, security, and scalability (caching strategies, code optimization) Troubleshoot and resolve full-stack technical issues Develop and maintain technical documentation and coding standards Provide mentorship and knowledge transfer on Drupal development best practices Stay current with Drupal updates, contributed modules, and emerging technologies Minimum Qualifications Bachelors degree or certificate in Web Development, Computer Science, or a related field 6+ years of full stack web development experience with a strong focus on Drupal 4+ years of hands-on Drupal experience, including custom module development and theming Preferred Qualifications Experience working in Linux environments using CLI and Docker Proficiency in PHP, Twig, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern development workflows Experience with Drupal APIs, configuration management, and deployment processes Strong understanding of WCAG 2.1 accessibility standards and implementation Experience with content migration tools (e.g., Migrate API) and structured content modeling Familiarity with front-end frameworks (e.g., Bootstrap) and JavaScript libraries/frameworks (e.g., React, jQuery) Experience integrating external systems via RESTful APIs and working with decoupled or headless Drupal architectures Knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD pipelines Familiarity with Figma for interpreting UI requirements (no design ownership required) -- Keywords: continuous integration continuous deployment user interface information technology Massachusetts Drupal Developer - Boston, MA (Hybrid) [email protected] http://bit.ly/4ey8w48 https://jobs.nvoids.com/job_details.jsp?id=3282817&uid=c8cd8b4f3648405e962036f2669b248c |
