The ideal candidate will have strong experience in C/C++, object-oriented programming, and embedded system workflows, along with a passion for innovation and problem-solving. Key Responsibilities Perform embedded systems engineering activities including: Requirements analysis Operational concept development Software architecture and system design Component integration and design reviews Controller integration and testing Develop and enhance features in C for internal embedded operating systems used in vehicle controllers Build software tools and improve developer workflows using C# Design and implement test automation frameworks and scripts using Python Lead innovation initiatives to improve embedded development tools, processes, and workflows Collaborate with cross-functional teams and provide daily technical support to internal and external stakeholders Troubleshoot system issues and perform root cause analysis to drive resolution Required Skills & Experience Strong experience in embedded software development using C and C++ Proficiency in object-oriented programming and C# development Solid understanding of the embedded software development lifecycle (requirements design development validation) Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills Strong communication and teamwork abilities Ability to work independently in a self-directed environment Preferred / Desired Skills Experience with GNU Make and Python scripting Knowledge of automotive communication protocols: CAN / Automotive Ethernet J1939, ISO 14229 Experience with hardware-software integration (mechanical, electrical, or hydraulic systems) Development of low-level drivers and middleware for hardware peripherals Familiarity with AUTOSAR and proprietary embedded operating systems (e.g., John Deere OS) Experience working in Agile development environments Education Bachelors degree in one of the following (or equivalent experience): Computer Science Computer Engineering Software Engineering Electrical Engineering Mechanical Engineering Agricultural Engineering Systems Engineering Top Skills / Must-Haves Embedded C/C++ development C# (object-oriented programming) Python (automation & scripting) Embedded systems lifecycle knowledge Debugging & root cause analysis Please share your resume at [email protected] Keywords: cprogramm cplusplus csharp card North Carolina Embedded Software Engineer || NC || Onsite || [email protected] http://bit.ly/4ey8w48 https://jobs.nvoids.com/job_details.jsp?id=3295555&uid=2aad9dfe6a68412c88b78050b289ebb8 |
