This role involves working with modern tools and frameworks, implementing business rules, and contributing to both individual and team projects in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities: Develop and maintain applications using Java, Drools/Red Hat BRMS, and related technologies. Implement BDD/TDD practices with JUnit for testing and quality assurance. Build and support web services and enterprise applications. Prepare software for deployment in production environments. Troubleshoot and resolve issues in live systems. Manage small projects independently and collaborate on larger initiatives. Work in Linux environments using tools such as VS Code. Utilize AWS for cloud-based development and deployment. Perform other related duties as assigned. Required Skills & Experience: 10+ years of experience in Java development (core Java and web services). 5+ years of experience with Drools/Red Hat BRMS or similar rules engines. Strong experience with JUnit, JBoss, Git, and Maven. Proficiency in Linux environments and development tools. Hands-on experience with AWS, SQL, and VS Code. Bachelors degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience. Preferred: Experience with JBPM or other process automation engines.
