This is a highly hands-on position supporting security efforts across approximately 15,000 repositories and a diverse, mixed-language codebase. The ideal candidate will combine deep technical expertise with the ability to guide developers and influence secure software delivery at scale. Key Responsibilities Lead and perform secure code reviews across a large and complex repository ecosystem Conduct change record reviews and assess security risk prior to CAB (Change Advisory Board) approval Provide pre-CAB security validation, ensuring changes meet enterprise security standards Partner closely with development, DevOps, and platform teams to embed security into the SDLC Scale and optimize secure development practices across thousands of repositories Act as a subject matter expert for application security risks, vulnerabilities, and remediation strategies Mentor engineers and provide guidance on secure coding and architecture decisions Help define and improve AppSec processes, tooling, and governance Required Qualifications Extensive experience in application security within large, enterprise-scale environments Strong, hands-on experience performing secure code reviews across multiple languages Deep understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) security and DevSecOps principles Experience reviewing and assessing risk associated with application and infrastructure changes prior to CAB Proven ability to operate effectively across large-scale codebases (thousands of repositories) Technical Skills Strong familiarity with source code management (SCM) platforms, such as: GitHub Bitbucket GitLab Azure DevOps Perforce Experience working with mixed-language environments (e.g., Java, C/C++, JavaScript/TypeScript, etc.) Knowledge of modern development frameworks and CI/CD pipelines Preferred Qualifications Experience scaling AppSec programs across large engineering organizations Strong developer enablement and stakeholder communication skills Familiarity with cloud-native environments and security practices Experience building or improving secure coding standards and review processes Additional Information This role is highly collaborative and requires influencing engineering teams at scale Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to prioritize risk in a fast-moving environment are essential -- Keywords: cprogramm cplusplus continuous integration continuous deployment information technology card Georgia Application Security Engineer SCM - Atlanta GA, 3 days onsite - Local pls [email protected] http://bit.ly/4ey8w48 https://jobs.nvoids.com/job_details.jsp?id=3300562&uid=fa891ce6bb08472483df0174ee972e29 |
