(MUST) *Note: CSM Certification. (MUST) *Note: SAFe Certification. (MUST) Liaison & Communication: Serve as liaison between technical and non-technical departments. Communicate with other management, developers, product owners and technical support specialists on product issues. Coach the team on best practices (maintaining a healthy backlog, develop high quality user stories, estimating and delivery) Development: Organize and facilitate project planning, daily stand-up meetings, reviews, retrospectives, sprint and release planning, demos and other Scrum-related meetings. Track and communicate team velocity and sprint/release progress. Maintain process documentation. Ensure team members practice the core agile principles of collaboration, prioritization, team accountability, and visibility. Application Support: Assist as needed with backlog maintenance and reviewing user story quality. Assist with internal and external communication, improving transparency, and radiating information. Assist with prioritization and resolution of defects / bugs. Management: Participate proactively in developing and maintaining the team working agreement, standards, and tools. Develop and manage team performance metrics, leveraging them to drive process efficiencies. Identify and remove impediments, prevent distractions. Facilitate discussion and conflict resolution. Empower the team to self-organize. Position Requirements: Formal Education & Certification: Four-year college diploma or university degree in computer systems design or computer science, and/or 10 years equivalent work experience. Must be a Certified Scrum Master, Scaled Agile (SAFe) experience and certification is a plus Knowledge & Experience: Scrum Master or Business Analyst experience is preferred. Understanding of agile software development methodologies, values, and procedures. Thorough understanding of the software development lifecycle. Understanding of organizations development platform and languages. Ability to understand technical issues.
