This is not just a design role, you will actively work with the team to build and deliver the solution. Must-Have Skills Strong experience with Snowflake (advanced level) Experience with AWS S3 (data lake / lakehouse architecture) Hands-on with DBT and/or Matillion (ETL tools) Strong data modeling experience (enterprise level) Experience with data governance tools (like Collibra) Good knowledge of SQL & Python Experience in data modernization / migration projects Domain experience in Insurance or Financial Services Experience Required 12+ years in data engineering / analytics 3+ years as a Data Architect / Solution Architect Experience working on large enterprise projects Key Responsibilities Design and build a modern data platform using: Snowflake + AWS S3 + dbt + Matillion Implement lakehouse architecture (Bronze, Silver, Gold layers) Create data models for insurance domain (policy, claims, finance, etc.) Set up data pipelines, transformation frameworks, and standards Define data governance, quality, and lineage Lead multiple teams/workstreams (ingestion, transformation, reporting, etc.) Migrate legacy ETL tools (Informatica/SSIS) to modern tools Work closely with business and technical teams Tools & Technologies: Snowflake, AWS S3, DBT, Matillion, Collibra, Profisee MDM, SQL, Python, Tableau, Power BI, CI/CD (Azure DevOps), Git Good to Have Experience with ACORD data model (insurance standard) Experience with MDM tools (Profisee or similar) Exposure to AI tools (Snowflake Cortex, Copilot, etc.) Snowflake certifications (SnowPro Advanced) Soft Skills Strong communication Ownership mindset Ability to work in fast-paced environments Team collaboration Success Criteria (What They Expect) Build the data platform within first 3 months Deliver high-quality, accurate data (99%+ accuracy) Ensure consistent architecture across teams Improve efficiency using automation/AI tools Looking forward to qualified local submissions only.
