Full Job Description: As a Data Engineer, you will report to the Director of Data Products and play a key role in modernizing Advisor solutions on a next-generation cloud platform. You will work as part of a collaborative team to enhance overall data quality and design scalable, efficient data pipelines and orchestration using modern cloud technologies. In this role, you will build and support secure, resilient data architectures and data warehouse solutions that enable high-quality, reliable data. Your work will directly support the delivery of actionable insights to Advisors, helping them grow and optimize their business. SKILLS: 8+ years of experience in following technologies: Azure Cloud Services: Data Factory, SQL Server database, Functions, Data Lake, Databricks and Azure Automation. Proficiency with Python (4+ years). Additional coding languages: Rust, Typescript and Go. 5+ years data analysis experience in a data warehouse/data lake environment Advanced working knowledge of Databricks database - writing advanced SQL script, profiling, and optimization. Familiarity with DevOps practices, continuous integration, and continuous deployment (CI/CD). Working experience implementing slowly changing dimensions into dimensional models Experience with Databricks and/or Snowflake. Experience creating and using APIs Preference for background in Financial Services in Wealth Management/Independent Broker Dealer/RIA. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Bachelors/Masters in Computer Science, MIS/Information Management, Engineering or related field 8+ years experience in Data Engineering role.
