This position will be the team lead for the PL/SQL Developer group and will be an expert technical resource for the rest of the development team. This position will partner closely with the business stakeholders, project manager, development manager, and other IS staff. This position requires critical thinking and problem-solving abilities to address complex issues. Essential Functions: Design and Create functional OLTP and OLAP databases to support the organizations needs. Work both independently and as part of an Agile (SCRUM) development team Serve as database group team lead and assign tasks to appropriate developers. Manage data integrations and train users on effective implementation of best practices Engages with business analysts and stakeholders to understand functional requirements, and contributes to completion of functional specifications Designs and develops complex database objects such as procedures, functions, packages, triggers, and views Participate in special projects and perform additional duties as required Supports production systems, analyzes and resolves production issues in a time manner, NON-ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Participate in special projects Assist in development of training materials, user documentation, etc. QUALIFICATIONS 12+ years experience in Oracle PL/SQL development and database architecture. Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field Excellent analytical skills, time management skills, ability to prioritize and multi task, ability to routinely make effective and timely decisions in alignment with management direction is required.
