This role requires expertise in API-first architecture, microservices, and eCommerce workflows including cart, checkout, payments, and order lifecycle. Important: Candidates must have direct, hands-on experience working within established commerce platforms/tools (not just general eCommerce website testing or domain exposure). Profiles without real platform/tool experience will not be considered. Key Responsibilities Own and lead QE strategy and delivery for the eCommerce program Define test strategy, test plans, quality gates, and release readiness Act as single point of accountability for quality Collaborate onsite with Business, Product, Dev, and QE teams Lead and mentor QE team (manual + automation) Ensure testing coverage across core eCommerce flows: Product catalog Pricing & promotions Cart & checkout Payments & refunds Order lifecycle (create fulfill return) Drive automation strategy (UI + API + integration) aligned with CI/CD Track and report quality metrics, risks, and status Support UAT, go-live, and production readiness Required Skills & Experience (STRICT) 10+ years in Quality Engineering / Testing 2+ years in QE Lead / Test Lead role Hands-on experience with commercetools (mandatory) Strong experience in API testing (REST/GraphQL) and microservices architecture Experience testing end-to-end eCommerce workflows (checkout, payments, orders) Strong knowledge of web, API, and integration testing Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments Strong communication and stakeholder management skills Ability to work onsite and collaborate daily with teams Important Note for Vendors / Recruiters Candidates must have real hands-on experience with commercetools Profiles with only Shopify / SFCC / Magento without commercetools will not be considered Candidates should be able to explain: commercetools APIs checkout & order workflows microservices-based architecture Looking forward to qualified submissions only.
