Title- Python Trading Systems Engineer Location-Hybrid-New York Duration-6+ Months Visa-No H1B Candidate must be local Role Profile: - Responsibilities include coordinating with other internal technology teams to build, test, and implement exciting new functionalities and to improve existing infrastructure. - You will execute and oversee IT change management processes within the team - You will work as a hands-on senior technologist in our Trading Risk Controls team. - You will be working closely with electronic trading desks and risk management. - You will participate and have opportunity to influence the design of our next generation of controls system. - You will be learning about trading systems and electronic trading while working with best in class technologists. - We work in a team-oriented global environment, so strong communication skills are required. Must Have: trading and financial experience Desired Skills: - Strong Linux/Unix skills - Scripting skills (in Python, Perl, Bash, Ksh or similar) - Understanding of Financial Markets, electronic trading, FIX message is a plus. - SQL skills is a plus - Strong verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
