EMC Technical Skills: Ability to operate EMC test equipment such as Spectrum Analyzers, Signal Generators, and Power Meters. Familiar with vehicle EMC test methodologies (ie. Radiated Emissions, onboard emissions, radiated immunity) Vehicle Communication Tools: Proficiency with, CANalyzer or similar tools to interface with the vehicle's electronic control units (ECUs). SW Automation: Basic to intermediate ability to write and modify test scripts (ie. Bash, Python or similar) for automation. Vehicle Expertise: Knowledgeable about basic electric vehicle architecture, comfortable working in and around vehicles, including basic mechanical disassembly to access internal modules, harness modifications, fuse replacements, charging and reviving LV/HV systems Familiarity with automotive EMC standards: ISO, SAE, UNECE-R10 Work Environment: This is a highly active role requiring significant time spent in semi-Anechoic chambers and lab environments. Occasional travel to external testing facilities (local or regional) is required.
