About the Role: We are seeking a self-directed Senior SAP WM-LE Functional Consultant to architect, configure, and optimize our warehouse and logistics operations. In this role, you will work directly with business users to map complex requirements, conduct gap analyses, and deliver robust software modifications. You will handle end-to-end process design while managing daily production support. As a subject matter expert, you will maintain systemic data integrity across warehouse structures and guide cross-functional module dependencies to align technical solutions with global supply chain standards. Key Responsibilities: Business Blueprinting: Partner directly with business stakeholders to evaluate operational opportunities, map requirements, identify functional gaps, and design workaround solutions. System Configuration: Customize and configure complex SAP WM-LE structures, including storage types, section variants, storage bins, and quants. Execution Engineering: Implement advanced strategies for picking and put-away, fixed bin replenishment, inventory quants, Handling Unit Management, and Storage Unit Management. Logistics & Moving Execution: Manage warehouse movements, generating Transfer Requirements (TR), Transfer Orders (TO), cross docking setups, and Yard Management procedures. Data Integration: Establish seamless automated communication channels via IDocs/ALE and configure 3PL integration frameworks. Hardware Integration: Deploy and support mobile data entry systems, designing custom layouts for Radio Frequency (RF) technologies and peripheral devices. Documentation & Quality: Author detailed functional designs, comprehensive test cases, and execution logs while mentoring junior analysts on cross-module dependencies. Essential Skills: SAP Logistics Mastery: Minimum 7 years of deep functional engineering experience within SAP WM-LE. Core Material Controls: Expert understanding of extending material masters to warehouse operations, Batch Management, and Shelf-Life Expiration Date (SLED) functionality. Inbound/Outbound Logic: Proficient in orchestrating goods receipts with inbound delivery and goods issues with outbound delivery processes. Desirable Skills: Cross-Functional Knowledge: Working proficiency in SAP SD and SAP MM modules. Interface Subsystems: Hands-on experience configuring touchpoints across WM-IM, WM-QM, and WM-PP domains.
