We are seeking candidates with end-to-end solution architecture capabilitiesnot only strong data architecture skills, but also experience in application architecture, user-facing design, and financial domain integration. Feedback from another Interview below, the financial exp is really important within the healthcare payer space. Overall, the panel felt he brings solid solution architecture experience and a healthcare background. However, there were notable gaps from a finance solution architecture perspective. Key observations: Limited depth in finance domain knowledge, particularly around core concepts like GL integration, audit/controls, and accounting fundamentals. While generally knowledgeable, his responses did not consistently meet expectations in several areas. Approach and communication did not come across as structured or strong enough to confidently drive business-facing conversations. Perception that he is not a strong driver-type resource, which is critical for this role. Compared to current team needs and existing resources, he does not appear to add incremental strength. Consensus from the group is that he is not the right fit for this role, and we recommend continuing the search for candidates with stronger finance alignment and ability to lead business discussions.
