Manager Notes: Full Stack (Java + React) No strict bias toward frontend or backend open to balanced or slightly stronger on either side Current Work / Project Focus Modernizing applications: Frontend: Tapestry React Backend: Java Spring Spring Boot Working across 4 applications within the CopLogic platform (DORS, LEAPS, etc.) Cloud Environment ~90% Azure, some AWS Open to candidates with experience in either (Azure preferred but not required) DevOps / Deployment Looking for familiarity with: Docker JFrog (artifact management) CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes Terraform not required (handled by SRE team) AI / LLM Expectations Focus on practical integration, not model development: Chatbots / conversational workflows Extracting insights from video/audio streams Candidates should: Have experience calling existing LLM APIs (e.g., OpenAI) Understand how AI behaves and is applied in real systems Not expected to build or train custom models What Were Looking For (must have) Bachelor of Engineering degree 5+ years of experience with Java and Spring Boot backend development. 5years with React front end Experience in Node.JS, RESTful API, and cloud computing (Azure or AWS) are a must Hands on experience with Azure , including storage and containerized services. Practical experience integrating AI/ML or LLM services (e.g., OpenAI/Azure OpenAI, speech, vision). Strong understanding of secure API design and access control. Ability to work collaboratively in a cross functional engineering team and own solutions end to end. Effective communicator to various teams including developers, BAs, product managers, and QAs Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to develop efficient workflows and integrations Proficiency in Jira, Confluence, and GitHub and experience with GitHub source control A methodical and detail-oriented mindset that uses logical thinking and problem-solving capabilities Nice to Have Experience working with media files (audio/video/images) and related APIs. Experience with WebSockets or streaming audio. Familiarity with Terraform or other infrastructure as code tools.
