Job Title: Security Analysts with Zscaler Location: Maryland Heights, MO Contract Ex- CTS Job Summary: In safeguarding the organizations network infrastructure by monitoring, analyzing, and responding to security events and incidents. The role requires deep expertise in network security principles, DNS security, and SSL inspection techniques. Security Analysts are responsible for proactively identifying vulnerabilities, assessing risks, and ensuring compliance with organizational security policies. The position involves close collaboration with IT and network teams to implement security controls, investigate security breaches, and maintain up-to-date documentation of incidents and resolutions. Key Responsibilities: Monitor and analyse network traffic for suspicious activities, leveraging advanced security tools and technologies. Perform in-depth analysis of DNS requests and responses to detect and mitigate threats such as DNS tunnelling and spoofing. Implement and manage SSL/TLS inspection mechanisms to ensure secure identify encrypted threats. communications and Investigate security incidents, conduct root cause analysis, and document findings and mitigation steps. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement best practices and recommend Improvements to enhance the security posture. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of emerging threats, vulnerabilities, and regulatory requirements in the network security domain. Prepare detailed reports, dashboards, and documentation for management and audit purposes. Key Skills and Qualifications: Strong understanding of core network security concepts, including firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and access controls. In-depth expertise in DNS security and hands-on experience with DNS traffic analysis. Proficient in SSL/TLS inspection technologies and methodologies. Familiarity with SIEM platforms, log analysis, and incident response procedures. Excellent analytical, troubles Tooting, and problem-solving skills. Effective communication and documentation skills, with the ability to work in a diverse, multicultural team.
